What won the race: Sliding by Josh Rice after he was hampered by a lapped car on the 28th lap, fifth-starting Bobby Pierce of Oakwood, Ill., led the rest of Wednesday's 50-lap Shale Crescent Dirt Cup at Muskingum County Speedway. Pierce used a turn-three slide job to take control from Rice and never looked back, winning by 4.111 seconds for the $20,000 payday and his first Muskingum County victory.

Devin Moran was slated to start on the pole but tagged the field after resorting to a backup car when his team discovered engine issues following the night's head-to-head matchups. ...
