What won the race: Overtaking polesitter Donald McIntosh of Dawsonville, Ga., on the 15th of 40 laps, fourth-starting Ray Cook of Brasstown, N.C., held off late-race challenges from Mike Marlar of Winfield, Tenn., to capture a $4,000 victory in the seventh annual Hangover at 411 Motor Speedway.
Key notes: Cook notched his third victory of 2016 and his second at 411. ... The race was slowed twice, first on a lap-18 yellow when Shane Bailey and Carder Miller tangled in turns one and two. … Bo Eaton spun in turn two to draw a caution on lap 22; third-running Donald McIntosh retired under the yellow flag. ... Marlar debuted a new Black Diamond Chassis. ... Miller, the Natural Bridge (Va.) Speedway Limited Late Model champ, made his Super Late Model debut. ... The race was officiated by CT Promotions. ...
