What won the race: Overtaking fellow second-row starter Ashton Winger on the 23rd lap, Cody Overton of Evans, Ga., made an inside move exiting turn two and led the rest of Friday's 40-lap Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series feature at Swainsboro Raceway for an $8,000 payday. Overton took the checkers 3.082 seconds ahead of 13th-starting Jadon Frame for his first career HTF victory. Polesitter Sam Seawright led the first two laps but retired after hitting the fence while Winger, the series points leader, led laps 3-22 but struggled after clipping a tire barrier and pitting.

Quotable: "I think I've got more laps than everybody here," Overton said. "That helps a lot, but, man, this track is, it never seems to (disappoint). I mean, I thought it was just kind of going to be one lane on the bottom, and then eventually that top would come, and towards the end I was like, man, there's no way we're going to get way up there. And then right at the end I said, 'Man, this ain't gonna be good.' "
