What won the race: Dominating 60 laps, polesitter Bobby Pierce of Oakwood, Ill., captured the 23rd annual Cotton Pickin' main event at Magnolia Motor Speedway for a $20,000 Super Late Model payday. Pierce was never seriously challenged, taking the checkers 2.021 seconds ahead of eighth-starting Spencer Hughes in the 60-lapper.

The second-to-last yellow fell on the 51st lap for Dotson's flat tire. ... Michael Page drew the final yellow on the 55th lap. ... Thirteen drivers were running at the finish of the 37-minute feature that concluded at 10:39 p.m. ... Prelims were held Friday night and weekend temperatures in the 90s tested teams in the track's final event of the season.
