What won the race: Clearing early leader Billy Moyer with a turn-three slide job on lap eight, second-starting Cade Dillard of Robeline, La., led the rest of Saturday's 30-lap Never Forget Nationals at Salina Highbanks Speedway. Dillard led final 23 laps unchallenged and took the checkers a distant 2.224 ahead of Kyle Beard, earning a $9,000 payday, his ninth Comp Cams Super Dirt Series victory of the season and 16th of his career.
Key notes: Kyle Beard slipped by Cade Dillard in the early going, dropping Dillard as low as third, before Dillard came alive after a lap-five restart and charged to the lead a few circuits later. ... Beard regained second from Billy Moyer on a lap-14 restart but never had anything for Dillard over the race's second half. ... Dillard notched his 11th overall feature win of the season. ... His eight points-paying Comp Cams victories tie the tour's all-time record across a full season with five events remaining in 2026. ... Moyer led the opening seven laps from the pole before fading to fifth and slowing with a flat right-rear tire to draw the race's third and final caution on lap 28; Moyer finished 15th after pitting, the final starter to complete 30 laps. ... Seventh-starting Morgan Bagley reclaimed third from Timothy Culp on lap 22 and Culp held fourth until slowing and pulling off under green on the final lap, lifting ninth-starting Jon Mitchell to finish fourth. ... Kylan Garner gained five spots to place sixth. ... Besides Moyer's lap-28 caution, the race was slowed two other times, first for sixth-running Brandon Morton slowing and retiring on the fifth lap. ... Clayton Ward spun at the entrance of turn three on lap 14 just after getting lapped by Dillard; Ward continued as the final starter running at the finish. ... The 19-minute feature was the first Comp Cams event at Salina Highbanks in more than seven years. ... Weston Holman scratched from the main event. ... Tyler Kuykendall scratched after hot laps.
On the move: Brandon Ball of Texarkana, Texas, started 15th and finished ninth.
