Thomas tunes up at Green Valley with TTCS win

GLENCOE, Ala. (March 20) — Polesitter William Thomas earned $1,500 for winning the opener of the Top Tracks Challenge Series at Green Valley Speedway. The event served as a tuneup for the March 26-28 GVS Crate Nationals paying $25,000 to the winner.
Thomas, fastest among 50 qualifiers, crossed the finish line in front of Todd Morrow of Oldfort, Tenn., the night's Super Late Model winner gunning for a sweep. Jeff Smith of Rocky Face, Ga., was third followed by Ronny Lee Hollingsworth of Northport, Ala., and Tim Busha of Boaz, Ala.
