What won the race: Oakley Johns of Hohenwald, Tenn., overcame a rash of cautions to lead all 35 laps in winning Saturday's Marlin-Woods Memorial at Duck River Raceway Park for his first career Ultimate Southeast Series triumph. Johns beat ninth-starting Matt Cooper by 3.120 seconds for the $5,000 payday and his first win of any kind since March 22, 2025, at his hometown Tennessee National Raceway.

Key notes: Johns led largely unchallenged for his first major touring series win since July 29, 2023, also at Tennessee National. ...
