What won the race: Emerging from a three-way battle between race-long leader Billy Moyer and a high-flying Tyler Kuykendall, sixth-starting Cade Dillard of Robeline, La., took command on the 23rd lap Saturday at Tri-State Speedway for his 13th Comp Cams Super Dirt Series victory of the season. Pulling away to win by 4.465 seconds over runner-up Timothy Culp, Dillard's Spooker payday paid $10,000.
Quotable: "We rode around the bottom there for a long time and it just got so slick to where there was a little bit left up on the very top. (Kuykendall) had a good run going up there and I was able to slip back by him a little traffic, but man, we had stuff going everywhere. That was fun," Dillard said, adding "what an awesome year it's been. I couldn't dream of it being any better."
Key notes: Dillard, whose graphics wrap paid tribute to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, stretched his dominating series points lead with his fifth straight victory. ... Polesitter and Hall of Famer Billy Moyer was in command most of the way, but Dillard and Tyler Kuykendall moved in for a wild, three-car battle amid traffic just past the halfway point. ... Once Dillard took over, he pulled away and raced to his 13th series victory. ... Timothy Culp was also in the mix, running top-five all the way and grabbing a runner-up finish. ... Billy Moyer Jr. started outside the front row and ran second early but faded from contention. ... A single caution appeared for Larry Bratti on the second lap. ... The 14-minute feature concluded at 11:49 p.m. ... Eight drivers completed 30 laps. ... The series made its first visit to the Pocola, Okla., track since 2018.
On the move: Tyler Wolff of Fayetteville, Ark., started 12th and finished fifth.
