Key notes: The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series concludes its six-day visit to East Bay Raceway Park with Saturday’s $15,000-to-win finale. … The 47th annual Wieland Winternationals kicked off Monday when Tyler Erb picked up his first win of the year, collecting $5,000. Ashton Winger and Ryan Gustin each earned their first career Lucas Oil series victories on Tuesday and Wednesday before Hudson O’Neal picked up his first main event triumph aboard the Rocket1 house car in Thursday’s $7,000 fourth round. … Devin Moran is the defending $15,000 finale winner at East Bay as he seeks his third victory of the year aboard Roger Sellers’ Double Down Motorsports entry. … Still seeking his first victory of the season Brandon Sheppard returns to the Gibsonton, Fla.-oval where he won three rounds last year and collected over $26,000. … Ricky Thornton Jr. is the hottest driver on the tour right now having won two of the first six events and notching top-five finishes in three others. … Brandon Overton joins Thornton as a two-time winner this year as he returns to his familiar Wells Motorsports Longhorn Chassis after starting the week in John Henderson’s Warrior. … Pits open at 2 p.m. and grandstands open at 5 p.m., with hot laps scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. each day. … Watch live on FloRacing.
