What won the race: Third-starting Don Shaw of Ham Lake, Minn., earned Sunday’s Northern LateModel Racing Association victory at Viking Speedway. Shaw took the early lead from polesitter Mike Prochnow and ran away for his first NLRA victory of the season.

Ricky Weiss started fourth but retired early with mechanical problems; he was the only driver failing to finish. ... Shaw earned his 10th career NLRA victory. … The start of Sunday's feature was delayed when the turn-one lights briefly went dark. ... Cole Schill of Horace, N.D., won Saturday's Viking opener.
Winner's sponsors: Shaw's Billy Moyer Victory Race Car has a Vic Hill Racing Engine and sponsorship from Shaw Trucking, Blaine Brothers, Allstate Peterbilt, Northern Metal Recycling and Lube-Tech.
