What won the race: Outside front-row starter Cade Dillard of Robeline, La., regained the lead from Eli Ross on lap 17 and survived a late restart to lead the final four circuits in Saturday's Hayden Ross Memorial finale at Thunderbird Speedway. Dillard earned $5,066 for his 15th career Comp Cams Super Dirt Series victory.
Key notes: Friday's winner Eli Ross of Muskogee, Okla., charged underneath Dillard in turns three and four following a lap-12 restart and led the next four circuits before Dillard got back by. … Dillard was the preliminary feature winner in late June before rain postponed the finale into a two-day event. … Morgan Bagley of Longview, Texas, started fourth and was running second when smoke from underneath the hood forced him to retire on lap 13. … Fifth-starting R.C. Whitwell of Tucson, Ariz., pulled off on lap 17 while running fourth. … The Comp Cams Super Dirt Series, Nutrien Ag Solutions Revival Super Dirt Series and Ross Foundation Sooner Late Model Series converged to complete the fourth annual Hayden Ross Memorial. An event that honors his late older brother, Hayden Ross of Muskogee, Okla., who tragically died in October of 2022 at the age of 20 and was posthumously crowned the 2022 Sooner Series champion.
On the move: Chance Mann of Newport, Ark., started 23rd and finished 12th.
