What won the race: Fourth-starting Wil Herrington of Hawkinsville, Ga., notched his first Ultimate Southeast Super Late Model Series victory Saturday at The Historic 441 Speedway, pocketing $4,000.
Key notes: Herrington is the second straight first-time series winner. ... The previous tour event June 27 at Oak Level Raceway in Bassett, Va., was won by first-timer Willie Milliken. ... Jadon Frame, who started alongside Herrington on the second row, finished second. ... The track hosted the tour for the first time since June 2012 when Casey Roberts took the victory. ...
