Exactly what does $1,000 mean?

Well, it means different things to different people. For some folks, it’s a drop in the bucket to an already deep pool of debt — or riches. To others, it would mean a hell of a nice Christmas. Racing is kind of the same way: $1,000 does different things for different teams.

Sometimes the more you travel — regardless of how much you normally enjoy it — you realize you’d be better off if you just stayed home. Or as in my case last weekend, if we’d headed home when we should have, we'd have come out in the black. Hindsight, however, is 20-20. At least that’s what they say.

Sometimes, whether it’s 20-20 or not, hindsight can drive you crazy. And most of the folks who know me know that I don’t easily let things go. Perhaps I should.
