Calm before the storm

When we planned our family vacation way back last August, the world seemed like a relatively normal place. My wife and I hadn’t been on a vacation that didn’t in some way involve a basketball or baseball tournament that my son was playing in since we went to California in 2008, so we were long overdue.

While many have been stuck at home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I was lucky enough to be out and about at a number of spring races. From April 30 through May 24 I went to seven events in five states, traveling to North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and twice to Missouri.
