Life on the road

During my trip to Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Miss., for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event a few weeks ago, I had a little time to get out and stretch my legs a bit. That’s not always the case on these trips we make, but because the Clash at the Mag was a two-day show, I managed to get in bed earlier on Friday than is typical, and, for some reason, I was up by 9 a.m. instead of noon.
