With Mother Nature hampering weekend activity, North Alabama Speedway decided to host a Tuesday night race this week. Following yet another rainout, officials at the track near Tuscumbia put out feelers on Facebook over the weekend. After a positive response they opened the gates Tuesday to host action in five weekly divisions.

They had a total of 68 cars in the pit area, with Chase Walls of Winchester, Tenn., outrunning Dustin Harris, Ben Brocato and 14 other Crate Late Models to pick up the win MORE

One of my favorite journalism classes back in my days at Middle Tennessee State University was my movie review class.
