A few nights back I was kicked back watching television when I stumbled across a documentary on HBO about the late comedian Richard Pryor. I have always enjoyed standup comedy and Richard Pryor is high up on my list of favorite comedians.

Sometimes there are signs that are just too obvious to ignore.

To most folks — especially normal ones — the song “C’mon N’ Ride It (The Train)” by the Quad City DJ’s would draw little reaction, short of changing the radio station. But thanks to Sirius XM Radio’s 90s on 9 channel, I frequently hear one-hit wonders like that one, which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart after its release in 1996.
