For as long as I can remember, drivers and race teams have cheated: Worked the gray areas, found a loophole in the rulebook, worked within the intent of the rule, worked over the rulebook — or whatever you want to call it. For me, I can't stand political correctness, so I simply call it cheating. Cars either race within the definition of the rules or not. And just to clarify, the type of cheating I am referring to is illegalities with the race car, not driving maneuvers.

I've been married about two and a half years — happily, so it seems. But if you ask Julie what she's most proud of regarding the marriage, it might be that she's made significant progress on getting rid of my old shirts, pants, shoes and coats, replacing them with apparel of her own choosing.

Have you ever had an itch that you just cannot reach? It drives you crazy! You improvise and find some object around the house to reach the itch and provide some relief: a hanger, a mixing spoon, a wall corner, maybe even the toilet brush (no kidding; search YouTube and you'll see a guy who itches his back with a used toilet brush). Basically you'll do anything to find a cure to take care of that itch. The only problem? Five minutes later the itch returns, and now it really drives you crazy.

The other day, I was out walking my Westie (his name is Webster), and as any dog will do when you take him for a walk, he came upon a car and had a good long sniff at the tires. I told him he better be careful and just sniff. I didn’t want him doing his business on the tire as it might soften the tire, so I told him to move along.
