It's a joke I throw out often to drivers as I stroll through the pits, and did so with Dale McDowell as I was leaving Eldora Speedway on Sunday.

"See you at the Summernationals!" I joked, knowing full well that McDowell, and most of the other drivers leaving Dream XVI, had no intention of following the aptly described Hell Tour that features 29 races over the next month.

I think we can all agree that there's no such thing as the perfect dirt track. As good as some of them are, each one has their own flaws. Which got me thinking: If I could create the perfect dirt late model track, what exactly would go into it?
