ROSSBURG, Ohio — Schedule, race format, purse and other information for the 42nd annual World 100, the $45,000-to-win UMP DIRTcar-sanctioned event at the half-mile Eldora Speedway (complete World 100 coverage):

Thursday, Sept. 6

RACING SCHEDULE

1:30 p.m.: Pit parking begins

4-7 p.m.: Pit pass sales open

5-8 p.m.: Early inspection and registration

FAN SCHEDULE

6 a.m.-6 p.m.: Showers open

8 a.m.: Hillside markings opeen

8 a.m.: Main concession stand opens

9: a.m.-6:30 p.m.: Main ticket office open

4-7 p.m.: Pit pass sales open

7:30 p.m.: Turn Four Bar opens

8 p.m. Party in the Fan Zone begins

Friday, Sept. 7

RACING SCHEDULE

9 a.m.: Pit parking resumes

10 a.m.-4 p.m.: Inspection and registration resumes

5:15 p.m.: Drivers’ meeting

6 p.m.: Hot laps followed by time trials and qualifying races

FAN SCHEDULE

6 a.m.-6 p.m.: Showers open

7-11 a.m.: Breakfast at turn-four concessions

8 a.m.: Race registration opens (pit passes and media credentials)

10 a.m.: Ticket offices open

11 a.m.: Track/grandstand cleared and secured

Noon: All admission gates open

Noon: Fan Zone and all concessions open

1 p.m.: Cornhole Tournament in Fan Zone (registration begins 12:15 p.m.)

5:30 p.m.: Pre-race festivities on main stage

7 p.m.: Heat races followed by consolation races, scrambles and 100-lap main event

6 a.m.-6 p.m.: Showers open

7-11 a.m.: Breakfast at turn-four concessions

10 a.m.: Ticket offices open

11 a.m.: Track/grandstand cleared and secured

Noon: All admission gates open

Friday, Sept. 7

• Drivers draw (upon registration) two numbers, one for the first-round of time trials, one for the second round.

• First round of time trials

• Second round of time trials

• Fast qualifier spins inversion wheel to set a three-, four-, five- or six-car inversion for six 20-car staggered heat races

• Top 84 drivers locked in for Saturday heat races; remaining entrants line up for three qualifying races in staggered order with top 12 drivers from each qualifying race transferring to Saturday’s heats (cars not advancing can stand by as heat race alternates)

Saturday, Sept. 8

• Six 15-lap, 20-car heat races; top three finishers transfer to World 100; finishers 4-11 transfer to one of two consolation races.

• Two fastest qualifiers failing to transfer through heat races accept provisional starting spots in 10th row of feature event.

• Two 20-lap, 24-car consolation races; top five finishers transfer to World 100.

• Two consolation scrambles for finishers sixth on back pay $1,000-to-win; no drivers transfer.

• 100-lap, 30-car feature event
