Doar claims $3,000 at Amsoil Speedway
SUPERIOR, Wis. (July 20) — Pat Doar of New Richmond, Wis., earned his first special-event victory of the season Friday night at Amsoil Speedway, earning $3,000 in the 3/8-mile oval’s WISSOTA Challenge Series event.
Doar, a four-time champion on the WISSOTA-sanctioned tour, topped John Kaanta of Elk Mound, at the finish with defending series champion Jake Redetzke of Eau Clair, finishing third.
Kyle Peterlin of Hibbing, Minn., was fourth with Chad Mahder also of Eau Claire, rounding out the race’s top five finishers.

No injuries were reported. … The WISSOTA Challenge Series returns to action July 27 with a $3,000-to-win event at Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen, S.D.
