Robinson grabs SUPR victory at Greenville

GREENVILLE, Miss. (April 21) — Fifth-starting B.J. Robinson of Shreveport, La., won Saturday’s Southern United Professional Racing tour event at Greenville Speedway for his second career SUPR victory.
Robinson earned $2,500 in crossing the finish line ahead of Childress Racing teammate Chris Wall of Springfield, La., while Timothy Culp of West Monroe, La., finished third. Polesitter Jeff Chanler of Minden, La., was fourth and series points leader Rob Litton of Alexandria, La., was fifth. | Slideshow
Robinson’s previous SUPR victory came May 28, 2011, at Champion Park Speedway in Haughton, La.
Notes: Robinson’s No. F5 is sponsored by Childress Inspection Services, Childress Fishing & Rentals and Stuckey Enterprises (where he’s an employee). ... The event is first touring race at Greenville since the track added walls. ... Shane Hebert, who won SUPR’s previous event at Boothill Speedway in his first-ever Late Model start, was on the front row at Greenville and finished 21st. ... Friday’s SUPR event at USA Speedway in Sterlington, La., was rained out. ... Doug Showah captured the previous Saturday’s regular season opener at Greenville. ... Next up for SUPR is an April 28 event at Jones Motor Speedway in Chatham, La., where Rob Litton won on March 17.
