Berck sets record with seventh straight SLMRS victory
McCOOL JUNCTION, Neb. (Aug. 7) — Polesitter Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb., raced to victory Saturday at Junction Motor Speedway, earning his record-setting seventh straight victory on the Nebraska-based Super Late Model Racing Series. Berck has nine victories in 2010 on the 3-year-old tour.
Outside front-row starter Mike Wiarda of Aurora, Neb., finished second followed by second-row starters Joe Kosiski of Omaha, Neb., and Mike Marushak of David City, Neb. Bill Koons of Omaha rounded out the top five.
