WEST UNION, Iowa (July 28) — Polesitter Keith Foss of Winona, Minn., became the first two-time winner on the Dart Corn Belt Clash Series, earning $2,000 for his second victory at Fayette County Speedway.

Eighth-starting Gary Webb of Blue Grass, Iowa, rallied to finish second with Lance Matthees of Winona, Minn., advancing seven positions to finish third in an event in conjunction with the Fayette County Fair. Jason Utter of Columbus Junction, Iowa, and Chris Smyser of Lancaster, Mo., rounded out the top five. | Slideshow

Curt Martin of Independence, Iowa, moves into the series points lead with his sixth-place finish; Chad Simpson of Mount Vernon, Iowa, who had a two-point series lead, skipped the race to run the World Dirt Racing League event at North Central Speedway in Brainerd, Minn. Simpson is leading WDRL points. ... The Corn Belt Clash championship pays $2,000 to the champion of the five-race miniseries. ... The final race is scheduled for Aug. 12 at Fayette County Speedway.
