LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (June 20) — Rallying from his 12th starting spot, Ray Moore of Shreveport, La., overtook Kyle Cummings of Minden, La., in the final laps at I-30 Speedway and grabbed his first O'Reilly Southern United Professional Racing victory of the season. Moore, the 2007 O'Reilly SUPR champion, pocketed $2,500 for winning the finale of a two-race weekend at the quarter-mile oval. | Litton wins SUPR opener at I-30

Moore took the checkered flag less than a length ahead of the fifth-starting Cummings, who led most of the 40-lap main event. Cummings took the lead from Texan Jon Mitchell on the eighth lap, only to relinquish the lead to Moore with two laps remaining. Moore used lapped traffic to his advantage in making the late-race pass that led to his 10th career SUPR victory.

Jeff Chanler of Minden advanced four spots from his seventh starting position to finish third while Jack Sullivan of Greenbrier, Ark., was fourth. Mitchell rounded out the top five. Rob Litton of Alexandria, La., winner of Friday's feature at I-30, raced from 14th to seventh on Saturday.

Two cautions slowed Saturday's main event, the first on lap four when Kenny Merchant of West Monroe, La., had an apparent flat tire. The second caution appeared for a tangle between Michael Murphree and Robbie Stuart in turns three and four that sent Stuart into a spin cycle. Stuart recovered to finish 11th.
