Around the Pits: Volusia’s six nights of action between DIRTcar and World of Outlaws sanctioning actually includes eight scheduled features with triple $5,000-to-win events set for Wednesday. … Tim McCreadie returns to Volusia following a Sunshine Nationals victory last month that gave him his 11th career Super Late Model win at the historic track. … McCreadie is the third winningest Super Late Model driver at Volusia behind Billy Moyer (19 victories) and the late Scott Bloomquist (12). … Ricky Thornton Jr. of Chandler, Ariz., won a pair of modified features during the previous week’s DIRTcar Nationals action at Volusia (and Thornton's Koehler Motorsports teammate Jordan Koehler won the week’s Big Gator Trophy).
Up next: Another $7,000-to-win DIRTcar Nationals Super Late Model feature on Tuesday.
Next week: The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series opens its season with Feb. 19-21 events at All-Tech Raceway in Ellisville, Fla.

His third-to-first move past Terry Eaglin and Jeff Choquette with six laps remaining sealed the victory.
