What won the race: Regaining the lead from reigning series champ Dave Mass on the 24th lap, fourth-starting James Giossi of Hudson, Wis., led the rest of Wednesday's 40-lap Structural Buildings WISSOTA Challenge Series event at Gondik Law Speedway for a $3,000 payday. Mass went under Giossi to lead laps 22-23, but the fourth-starting Giossi's high-running No. 11 swept back ahead amid traffic and he captured his second career series victory by 1.146 seconds over polesitter Kevin Eder.

Quotable: "That was a hard 40 laps," Giossi said. "I kept seeing Dave circle that bottom pretty good and he was probably the better car overall. If I just hit my marks right, we had a lot of speed, and when I didn't, I could tell because he would pull up on the bottom."
