Tad Pospisil enjoys victory lane at Southern Iowa Speedway.
What won the race: Tad Pospisil of Norfolk, Neb., led all 25 laps from outside the front row for a $3,000 Malvern Bank East Series victory at Southern Iowa Speedway. Winning his 10th career series victory, Pospisil took the checkers 3.012 seconds ahead of fast qualifier Jason Hahne in the nonstop feature at the half-mile oval.
Quotable: "We timed in pretty decent, had a good, decent heat race, but for the feature I was a little (like I) didn't know what to do. I kind of just went with my gut," Pospisil said, crediting Vinny Guliani. "Vinny's given us a really good shock setup and he's been helping me a lot this past week. So I got to thank Vinny with VG Performance and then this motor with Scott Bailey has just been awesome."
Key notes: Pospisil's victory ran caution-free as he lapped 13 competitors. ...
