What won the race: Hanging on despite a deflating right-rear tire in the closing laps, second-starting Tyler Carpenter of Parkersburg, W.Va., beat Levi Yetter by 0.181 of a second to capture Saturday's County Roads preliminary feature at Tyler County Speedway. Carpenter led all 30 laps to win $5,000, his first Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series victory of the season and fourth of his career.

I wasn’t sure if my stuff was fading or if I was getting a flat and I just knew something was going south," Carpenter said. "I’ll be doggone if it didn’t blowout at the line.
