What won the race: Taking control when race-long leader Dave Mass slipped over the turn-one cushion on the 15th lap, second-starting Cole Searing of Huron, S.D., led the rest of Friday's 40-lap Structural Buildings WISSOTA Challenge Series return to Princeton Speedway. Searing overcame a lap-30 restart and pulled away to the $3,000 payday in his Princeton debut, winning by 2.568 seconds over Kevin Burdick.

Quotable: "I’ve never been here, never even pulled up a video and watched a race here. For some reason I have an 80-85 percent win rate at places I’ve never seen," Searing said. "I didn’t know what to expect, it was pretty rough, so I was worried about bottoming out in them holes and maybe driving off the track. I wasn’t expecting Dave (Mass) to drive off over (in turn one) and at the same time he drove off, I shoved the nose and got tight, so I didn’t know if we were gonna hit."
