What won the race: Outside front-row starter Neil Baggett of Columbus, Miss., endured several restarts to lead all 30 laps of Saturday's Comp Cams Super Dirt Series return to Riverside International Speedway. Baggett won by nearly a straightaway over Chandler Petty for a $5,000 paycheck, his second straight Comp Cams win at Riverside (2021) and seventh career tour victory.

Quotable: "Last time (I was here), it was so different, it was so slick. Tonight, it’s like fighting a bear out there for 30 laps," Baggett said. "My buddy Trevor stood here at the fence and was like ‘You gotta just act like an idiot,’ ya know, ‘I may go to the bottom the next lap.’ I don’t know man, the car is good."

Key notes: Baggett remained loyal to Riverside's treacherous cushion for his second win in as many starts after topping a Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series feature July 18 at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Miss. ... It was his first Comp Cams Series victory since Sept. 2, 2023's All-American 60 at Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Miss. ... Baggett also won the last Comp Cams visit to Riverside on April 17, 2021, worth $3,000. ... Sixth-starting Chandler Petty, stripped of a tour victory the previous night Crowley's Ridge Raceway in Paragould, Ark., used a slide job by Kyle Beard in the final set of turns and nipped Beard by 0.118 of a second for the runner-up spot. ... Morgan Bagley improved eight positions to finish sixth. ... The race was slowed five times, most notably when Cade Dillard and Billy Moyer Jr. tangled as they battled for second on a lap-14 restart attempt, sending Moyer spinning down the backstretch; Dillard continued in the runner-up spot until he slowed and slapped the turn-three wall on lap 20 just as J.C. Waller spun in turn four for the final stoppage. ... Waller also overcame a lap-six spin with Henry Gustavus where Gustavus showed his displeasure by making contact with Waller's stopped vehicle under the race's second caution. ... The 30-lap feature lasted 26 minutes with 14 starters completing the distance.

On the move: Timothy Culp of Prattsville, Ark., started 18th and finished eighth.
