What won the race: Second-starting Ashton Winger of Hampton, Ga., overcame contact with a lapped car on the 32nd lap, then continued after hard contact with Brandon Overton on the ensuing restart to lead all 44 laps of Tuesday's Roscoe Smith Classic at Senoia Raceway. Winger beat Donald McIntosh by 1.058 seconds for the $7,544 payday, his first Schaeffer's Southern Nationals victory in his first series start of the season and third of his career.

Key notes: Winger launched off the outside front row and knifed through lapped traffic without issue until he spun 10th-running Todd Morrow in turn three as he attempted to lap him on lap 32; Morrow finished 10th as the final starter to complete 44 laps. ... Brandon Overton used a turn-one slide job to briefly take the lead from Winger on the ensuing restart as Winger executed a textbook crossover move out of two until both drivers came together hard at the entrance of turn, sending Overton slowing with a flat left-rear tire and heavy left-side damage; Overton opted not to continue and took his car pitside under the race's second caution. ... Cody Overton, who was eyeing his fourth straight Southern Nationals victory, ran as high as fourth in the early going before settling for fifth. ... The event honored Hall of Famer Roscoe Smith of Griffin, Ga., the former racer, chassis builder and parts shop owner who fielded cars that carried his famous No. 44 with a trademark checkered-flag pattern on the roof; Roscoe, the father of Clint Smith, died on Aug. 16, 2025, at the age of 85; Clint made his first Late Model start in a little more than four years and finished 17th. ...
