What won the race: Taking command from early leader Brandon Fouts on the seventh lap, pole-starting Zack Dohm of Cross Lanes, W.Va., led the rest of Saturday's 30-lap Freedom Revolution feature at 201 Speedway. Dohm beat Dylan Barrow by a distant 4.433 seconds to collect more than $12,000, including $2,026 in bonuses for sweeping all Super Late Model action contested throughout the night, his first feature victory in nearly two years.
Key notes: Dohm cruised to his first win since July 6, 2024's Tommy Lanham Memorial at Rockcastle Speedway in Mount Vernon, Ky., worth $7,500 on the Ultimate Heart of America Series. ... Of $2,026 collected in bonus money, $250 was courtesy of Graphic Impressions as the night's fast qualifier. ... Dohm won the previous five-figure Super Late Model payday offered at 201 after topping an Iron-Man Series field for $10,000 on June 29, 2018. ... It's his fifth career 201 special dating back to the fall of 2017, collecting more than $31,000 over that span. ... Seventh-starting Dylan Barrow took the runner-up spot on a lap-13 restart but never seriously challenged Dohm over the race's second half. ... Brandon Fouts fired off from the outside front row and led the opening six laps before giving way to Dohm and eventually Barrow, settling for third. ... The race was slowed by three incidents, most notably a 20-minute red flag that on the opening lap eliminated third-starting Alan Salisbury, Michael Howard and Audie Swartz (the chassis builder made his first special event start in nearly two years). ... Tyler Carpenter slowed from third for the second stoppage on lap 13 before pitting, but could only rally to finish ninth. ... Sixth-running Shane Bailey was eliminated in the third and final caution on lap 17. ... The Freedom Revolution feature lasted just shy of 35 minutes and ended at 12:45 a.m. with 11 starters completing 30 laps. ... Shannon Thornsberry scratched after time trials.
