What won the race: Overtaking Mike Spatola on the 38th lap, polesitter Drake Troutman of Hyndman, Pa., earned $10,000 on Sunday at Coles County Speedway in the 40-lap Rural King Road to the Dome. Troutman swapped sliders with Spatola with three laps to go, then edged ahead to secure the victory, winning by 0.889 of a second in a 13-car feature.

Quotable: "I'll tell you what, this place raced really good," Troutman said. "I'm gonna be honest, I came up here earlier in the night before we even started on last I'm like, 'Damn, it looks pretty narrow, but it definitely raced good," Troutman said, adding that "we're finally getting some momentum going here. We're loving the new team. I can't thank Jerry (Foster) and those guys enough for giving me and my guys the opportunity and nice little morale boost to go into the next week."

Key notes: Drake Troutman scored his sixth Late Model feature of the season and third since joining his Jerry Foster-owned team midsummer. ... Mike Spatola, last year's Road to the Dome winner, officially led the first 37 laps from outside the front row. ... Troutman briefly led on the 18th lap, but officials ruled a caution erased the move, putting Spatola back out front for the lap-19 restart (Troutman apologized in his victory lane interview for the slide job that caused the drivers to make contact). ... Ryan Gustin ran much of the race with his nearly disconnected rear spoiler flapping behind his car, running third most of the way but slipping to seventh at the finish. ...
