What won the race: Powering around race-long leader Kaede Loudy at the completion of the 23rd lap, second-starting Brandon Overton of Evans, Ga., went on to stave off a late charge from Sam Seawright to win Saturday's sixth annual Lil' Bill Corum Memorial at Tazewell Speedway. Overton led the final 53 circuits of the 75-lap feature for the $21,000 payday, his 13th career Schaeffer's Spring Nationals victory and sixth overall win of the 2026 season.

Quotable: “First off, this (win) is for my guys. They busted their butts,” Overton said. “The track, as soon as I got the lead, I could kinda feel it starting to latch down and so it was my race to lose. I was trying not to crash with the (lapped cars) and just be smart."

Key notes: Overton captured his first Spring Nationals victory since March 29, 2025, at East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Ala. ... It was his first career Corum Memorial triumph and third career Tazewell victory, adding to Southern Nationals wins there in 2017 and '18, each worth $10,000. ... Apparent runner-up Sam Seawright was disqualified for a deck height violation in postrace tech and moved to 19th in the final rundown.
