What won the race: Leading all 40 laps from outside the front row, Cole Searing of Huron, S.D., captured the Structural Buildings WISSOTA Challenge Series finale at I-94 EMR Speedway for a $3,000 payday. Searing, who turned back first-half restart slide-job attempts by polesitter Cody Overton, took the checkers 0.852 of a second ahead of 14th-starting Johnny Broking with Kevin Burdick securing his first series championship.

Quotable: "I was starting to get a little tight at the end, so I was getting a little nervous, I didn't know what to do on them restarts," Searing said. "The top was so good, but I kept seeing them dive down to the bottom (on restarts). So I just tried to change it up every other one to keep them thinking, but all in all we had a really good car."
