Early October rainouts, cancellations
Among non-national touring Dirt Late Model special and sanctioned events rained out, postponed or cancelled during the first weekend in October (among other schedule changes); rescheduled date included unless no makeup date was immediately announced:
Hunt the Front: The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series championship weekend doubleheader at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tenn., rained out. Ashton Winger is the series champion.
Ultimate Crate: In schedule changes of the Ultimate Pro Late Model Series, Oct. 17's event at Potomac Speedway in Budds Creek, Md., was cancelled because of high fuel costs and a new season finale was scheduled for Oct. 24 at 127 Speedway, the first-ever event at the Lawrenceburg, Ky., oval.
Revival: The weekend doubleheader on the Nutrien Ag Solutions Revival Super Dirt Series at Rolling Plains Motor Speedway in Hays, Kan., rained out.
Blue Ridge: Saturday's Cagle Automotive Blue Ridge Outlaw Late Models portion of the sixth annual Buddy Smith Memorial King of the Carolinas rained out.
Southern Clash: Saturday's Godbee Family Tribute at Waycross (Ga.) Motor Speedway on the Southern Clash Late Model circuit rained out.
Iron-Man: Friday’s Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Ky., was cancelled by the track’s premature closure.
