Sponsorship from Kapella Machine Electronics has boosted the Late Model purse for Sept. 18-19’s Legendary 100 to $12,000-to-win and provides free entry fees for Late Model drivers, Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wis., announced this morning. The event was originally $10,000-to-win.

“Support from companies like KME allows us to continue building bigger and better events for our racers and fans,” Cedar Lake’s Brad Both said in a press release.

The format is A-B time trials with 10-lap heat races and a heat-winner dash on opening night. The second night of action includes consolation races, a last-chance race and 50-lap main event.
