The best performer during the Hoker Trucking Iowa Speedweek in mid-August will pocket an extra $2,500 thanks to the newly established Hawkeye State Great 8 points fund.

The top points earner from a format that includes points for time trials, heat races and feature finishes pays $2,500 plus a Fast Shafts driveshaft to the champion with $1,450 to the runner-up and $1,200 for third place from a total payout of $10,000. The rest of the payout: $1,100, $1,050, $1,000, $900 and $800.

Iowa Speedweek is made up of Aug. 18-19 FloRacing Night in America events at Marshalltown Speedway and Mason City Motor Speedway and Aug. 21-22 World of Outlaws Late Model Series events at Maquoketa Speedway for the Hawkeye 100.

Hawkeye State Great 8 points fund sponsors are FloRacing, DIRTVision, the Wild West Shootout and Fast Shafts.
