With all-day rain saturating Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wis., Friday’s preliminary action for the USA Nationals was postponed to Saturday to set up a split doubleheader program for the $100,000-to-win World of Outlaws Late Model Series event.

The preliminary program will begin with 5 p.m. hot laps and continue with WoO time trials, heat races, the dash along with the FANS Fund dash. The local Late Model division will run a complete program.

When the preliminary program is complete, the grandstands will be cleared and Saturday’s originally scheduled program will begin about 45 minutes later on a reworked racing surface.

Saturday’s program includes a complete program for local Late Models along with WoO consolation races and 100-lap main event.

Pit gates open at noon Saturday with grandstands opening at 3 p.m. An autograph session in the midway is at 3:30 p.m.
