Fourth of July weekend rainouts
Among non-national touring Dirt Late Model special and sanctioned events rained out, postponed or cancelled during the Fourth of July weekend (among other schedule changes); rescheduled date included unless no makeup date was immediately announced:
Eriez: Sunday's Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series Mike Farr Memorial at Eriez Speedway in Hammett, Pa., was rescheduled July 12.
Sooner: Saturday's Ross Foundation Sooner Late Model Series event at Enid (Okla.) Speedway rained out.
Tyler County: Saturday's $3,000-to-win Sav A Lot American All Star Series-sanctioned Eaton-Childers Memorial at the Middlebourne, W.Va., oval was rained out.
Port Royal: Saturday's Greg Hodnett Classic at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway rained out, including the $4,000-to-win Super Late Model event.
ULMS: Saturday's Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series Stars and Stripes Showdown finale at The Dirt Track at Genesee in Batavia, N.Y., was cancelled because of rain.
WCS: Friday's Structural Buildings WISSOTA Challenge Series-sanctioned Great Lakes Battle Border prelim at Gondik Law Speedway in Superior, Wis., rained out; Saturday's $3,000-to-win finale is still on as scheduled.
I-75: The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series and Red Clay 602 Late Model Series cancelled Friday's events at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tenn., because of a power outage after heavy rainfall; both events have been rescheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19.
Premier: Friday's Karl Chevrolet Premier Late Model Tour event at Davenport (Iowa) Speedway rained out.
ACLMS: Thursday's American Crate Late Model Series event at Rocket Raceway in Petty, Texas, rained out.
