Repeated rain shows and forecasts for more forced the cancellation of Friday's World of Outlaws Late Model Series event at 141 Speedway in Maribel, Wis. The national tour will conclude the weekend with a $25,000-to-win event on Saturday.

Rain hit after Friday's hot laps, then again after Ethan Dotson won the first heat race to rain out the event. Dennis Erb Jr. was the fast qualifier among 33 entries for the $12,000-to-win opening round of the Maribel Late Model Showdown.

The race won't be schedule. Grandstand ticketholders can enter Saturday's action with an extra $5 while pit-pass holders can use that for Saturday's race with no extra charge. Those purchasing two-day ticket online will receive a refund to your original form of payment for Friday's race.
