Oak Level shifts Ultimate tour date
The Ultimate Southeast Super Late Model Series has moved its June 27 event to Oak Level Raceway in Bassett, Va., from Ararat (Va.) Speedway, which hasn't operated this season. The series originally was set for June 26-27 races at Oak Level and Ararat, facilities owned by Bo Miller. The visit to Oak Level will be the first in series history.
Among other recent schedule changes:
• July 3's Mid-East 602 Crate Late Model Series event has been shifted to Friendship Motor Speedway in Elkin, N.C., from Travelers Rest (S.C.) Speedway.
• The United Championship Racing Alliance's June 20 event at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Ga., was cancelled.
• The first-year Dirt Outlaw Racing Series added a $2,000-to-win event at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Ala.
