Longacre Racing, the maker of precision racing scales, is the new technical inspection area sponsor for Eldora Speedway, the Rossburg, Ohio, track announced today.

“Partnering with Eldora Speedway as the official tech area sponsor is a natural fit for Longacre,” said Jeff Scales, President of AFCO Performance Group. “Eldora represents excellence, tradition, and competition at the highest level — values that align directly with our brand. We’re excited to support racers at such a premier facility with the precision tools they depend on.”

Postrace tech inspection for some of Dirt Late Model racing’s biggest events will be ultimately decided in the newly branded area. Eldora general manager Levi Jones called Longacre’s addition “a perfect fit for an area of our facility that has played such a significant role in Eldora history. When fans see those lights turn green after a big race, it means something — and Longacre Racing will now be a part of that tradition.”

After an April 18 rainout, Eldora is set to open its season Saturday on Family Fireworks Night. Late Models aren’t part of the three-division program.
