A $3,000-to-win dash has been added to Friday’s inaugural Jeff Gullett Memorial at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Ky., the Northern Allstars Late Model Series announced.

Gullett’s longtime friend Steve Caton of Caton Industrial Painting in Harrodsburg, Ky., posted the winner-take-all award among four heat winners of the $10,000-to-win event, the tour’s first appearance at Ponderosa in 20 seasons.

Friday’s race at the track now under the operation of Joshua Messer and Jamie Stumph honors the late crew chief for Campbellsville, Ky.-based JRR Motorsports.
