Rich races, new tracks for Comp Cams
The Arkansas-based Comp Cams Super Dirt Series today released a 26-race schedule among 15 tracks in six states bookended by doubleheader weekends March 27-28 and October. 10-11 at Arrowhead Speedway in Colcord, Okla., which hosts a series-high six races. | Schedule
Nearly half the tracks on the circuit are hosting races for the first time and all but six races pay at least $10,000-to-win.
Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Ark., hosts a pair of doubleheader weekends while two races apiece are scheduled for Thunderbird Speedway in Muskogee, Okla., which hasn’t hosted a series event since 2012. Two first-time series tracks, Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Mo., and Pike County Speedway in Magnolia, Miss., also have doubleheader weekends.
Five other first-time tracks are set to host single events: Big O Speedway in Ennis, Texas; Benton (Mo.) Speedway; 81 Speedway in Wichita, Kansas.; Humboldt (Kan.) Speedway; and Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kan. (Humboldt and Caney Valley were on the schedule last season, but those races were cancelled.)
Salina (Okla.) Highbanks Speedway is back on the schedule for the first time since 2019.
