Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series officials will officiate next month’s Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Ala. The non-points Super Late Model event scheduled for Jan. 2-3 pays $7,500-to-win.

Practice is scheduled for Jan. 1 with preliminaries on Jan. 2 and the main event Jan. 3. The undercard includes a Rogers-Dabbs Crate Racin’ USA Winter Shootout Series event.

Southern Thunder plans to announce another non-points event soon with a details about the complete 2026 season announced later.

Talladega’s Dec. 20 Santa Shootout includes action for seven divisions, including Limited Late Models and Crate Late Models, but Super Late Models aren’t in action.
