Friday’s Northern LateModel Racing Association doubleheader at I-94 EMR Speedway in Fergus Falls, Minn., was cancelled in the mid-afternoon hours before the night’s racing, according to series and track reports.

The series cancelled the events because of forecasts for inclement weather for NLRA drivers heading back home after the races. The track apologized for the late notice.

No makeup dates for the $1,500- or $2,090-to-win events were announced.

The track proceeded with a non-series race and Tyler Peterson of Hickson, N.D., captured a Late Model feature for WISSOTA weekly points competition.
