An unfavorable weather forecast has forced the postponement of the weekend’s Tennessee Tipoff on the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn., the national tour announced today.

The event — originally set for $10,000- and $15,000-to-win programs — has been condensed to a single day for its March 16 makeup, a $10,000-to-win event that will precede WoO’s originally scheduled March 17-18 action at Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Ga.

Tickets for the Tennessee Tipoff will be refunded through MyRacePass.

Other weekend events affected by weather:

Springfield: The $10,075-to-win Turkey Bowl for Super Late Models at Springfield (Mo.) Raceway has been shifted to Sunday from Saturday because of inclement weather. The track also split off a portion of the event's planned divisions to two weeks later (see track's Facebook page for details).
