Facing a wet forecast, Thursday's Castrol FloRacing Night in America finale at Tri-County Racetrack in Brasstown, N.C., has been cancelled, the series announced. The FK Rod Ends Tar Heel 50 presented by Jacky Jones Automotive Group won't be made up and the first-year tour's season ends with Jonathan Davenport of Blairsville, Ga., as the champion.

While the tour race was scrapped, Tri-County promoter Ray Cook is considering rescheduling the race as an independent event with a date to be announced at tricountyracetrack.net and via the track's social media outlets.
